Youngsters Worldwide – Connecting Passion to Purpose
As if choosing to walk the entrepreneurial road isn’t challenging enough, being a self-made first-generation entrepreneur at 21 makes things a little more, er, interesting. Sarcasm aside, the trials and tribulations of a first-generation entrepreneur are like a survival guide for those who want to chart their own course and live their own dreams.
I use to find creative & out of the box ideas & thinking very fascinating from my childhood. Specially Ad Campaigns of companies like Fevicol, Happydent, Coca-Cola & Vodafone were my personal favorite.
I always use to have a thought to start something of my own since childhood. I lost my father when I was just 9 years old and there was no one in my family from Business background to guide me after studies regarding how to start a Venture. So I choose to do the job to learn how a company operates and worked in various sectors, read a lot of books, did market research, watched talk shows & interviews then after acquiring some skills, experience & knowledge. I took the risk of leaving my successful corporate career to finally start my own venture. I entered the Advertising Industry. which was already saturated with agencies & people with deep pockets, aged market presence, huge political backgrounds & Large Fundings. The only things that I had with me is a couple of Business Cards. Skillsets, Passion, Hunger & a Big Dream.
The First challenge I had to face was convincing my parents why I want to leave my job and start a venture of my own. Because in India Entrepreneurship is a Rare profession. As many people determine success as getting a good job with a well-paying salary. From priests to beggars everyone blesses people to get a good job. Well somehow I convinced them & they also started supporting me after seeing my dedication towards my work.
It all started with a small Digital Marketing Agency *earlier Known as “Youngsters – Digital”. The Company started with me as a solo founder & few local brands as clients simply fulfilling their Design, Advertisement & Marketing Needs. So basically it was like doing everything all alone working day & night to satisfy the clients, to solve their problems so that at the end of the day I can get some good feedback & reference for delivering quality service. Then slow & steadily things started changing and revenue started growing and with that, the hunt for the crazy team was still going on. As brain drain is a big issue in Odisha, It was & It still is a Big Challenge to find the right talents. But somehow we acquired the best talents from some of the top universities ( IIT, IIM, XIMB, KIIT ) through internships, contests & placement drives. It took us months of heedful evolution, lots of failures & hard work to execute a Proper Creative Ad Agency with all resources. We even got Acquisition & Funding proposals but we didn’t want to lose our freedom so we kept it as the bootstrap way. What started out as a Digital Marketing Agency soon became a self-sustaining Global Ad Agency where we are working on anything that involves design and everything digital. Hence Social Media, AdWords, Concept Design and cool new techno stuff like Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality, all seem to have found a space at “Youngsters – Worldwide” *current name. Storytelling & Word of Mouth Impact Creation is our flesh & blood, it’s everything we do. Be it solving one’s identity crisis or going digitally mad. The journey from Local Businesses to Fortune 500 Companies has been nothing but phenomenal. From small projects to big challenging viral Campaigns Be it as a part of Digital Marketing, TVC, Commercial Ad Production, Designing OR Campaign Strategy.
Now we work with aggressive and young-thinking companies who want a special edge to help them win in the new, digital world. With one clear vision to Make The Brand’s roar in the Ferocious Market.
